How can I get from Geneva Airport to Morzine?

Where can I hire my skis/board/boots from?

There are lots of ski hire shops in town. The three nearest the Super Morzine lift are Intersport, Alpine Sports Warehouse & ABC Sports.

The nearest to the Pleney Lift is Francois Baud. Book on line for the best price. They all have ski storage facilities for the week.

Can I leave my skis/board/boots at the apartment block if I want to?

Yes, there is a dedicated ski locker.

How far is it to the nearest ski lift?

The Pleney (towards Les Gets) & the Super Morzine  (towards Avoriaz) lifts are equidistant from the apartment, it takes about 7 minutes to walk to either. Should you need it, a ‘petit train’ can take you from one lift to the other.

How far to the nearest supermarket?

“Casino” is the nearest & is a two minute walk downhill.

How far is it to the nearest Navette (free bus) Stop?

It’s just 35m from the apartment up the steps onto the main road. The bus will take you round to the ski lifts.

How far is it to the nearest restaurant?

“La Chaudanne” is a 2 minute walk & is opposite the Casino Supermarket.

Can you recommend any restaurants?

Yes, there are lots of excellent restaurants in Morzine. Apart from La Chaudanne, our favourites are Le Clin D’Oeil (near the Carrefour supermarket) & La Grange on the Chemin de la Coutettaz.

Where is the best boulangerie in Morzine?

The Bonbonniere is in the main street. It is almost opposite the Spa supermarket in the centre of town. They sell the best croissants, bread & cakes in town!

Where can I park my car?

There is a private car park at the apartment block. Details will be sent with the directions just before your holiday.

How do I get keys to the apartment?

2 weeks before your start date we’ll send you information which includes, key access arrangements, our contact details & directions to the studio, in fact all the information needed to make your stay as easy as possible. We also send you a Welcome Document.

How do I get my lift pass?

Either online, or by going to the kiosk next to the Tourist Office or go to the Caisse at the lift station. It is well worth studying the different types of lift passes available, depending on your experience & the area you wish to ski, visit the Morzine-Avoriaz Tourist Office website for details, www.morzine-avoriaz.com

Anything else I should know?

There are no hidden costs in renting our apartment as everything is included. Price for 4 nights or more includes all bed linen & towels for all guests. Shorter stays (less than 4 nights) bed linen & towels will be charged per guest.

No smoking & sorry no pets.
